Super quick mitchells plain promenade mall

I needed a quick quote for my car. I walked in at 5h25pm. I was NOT so politely told that they are short staffed and cannot do an assessment or quote. My question: how does that become my problem? Should companies in any situation not strive to uphold customer service? When I told the guy who was as I saw just aimlessly walking around that I would take my business elsewhere he shrugged his shoulders and said "OK".... Really mister okay!!!.... It is not okay to to turn away business. Your working hours are till 5h30. You still serve each and every client who is waiting for assistance. You get paid to do a job, so maybe try and do it? That's just a suggestion. I will be telling my story over and over to anyone who will listen because you do not deserve to serve clients at all. And maybe now with less people gracing your business you can close earlier and put your feet up. I am sorry. I work in an industry that prides itself on service, so when I don't get it I will complain.
