Supa Quik Mafikeng
Had a really bad experienceat supa quik Mafikeng. In February 2019 i had my tirods replaced wich they informed me needed to be replaced. I gave them the go ahead. They replaced it R1500-R2000. When i drove to work about 300km away from mafikeng there was a vabration on my vehicle.because i work that far i had to make it back. After two weeks in March on my way back to mafikeng a fellow raod user told me my front wheel s was wobbling. I stop at a tyre plece in vryburg and after inspection they found the tirods was loose. I informed them and the monday i was at Supa Quik Mafikeng with my invoice. They checked it and i presumed the problem was fixed. Fast forward to July 2019 i had a really bad vabration on my vehicle on my way back to work from mafikeng. I turned around to Supa Quik Mafikeng and they did the inspection to find nothing and that everything was tightened. I had to drive with a very heavy heart knowing something was wrong. I got an second opinion in Christiana where I work and found that the tirods was loose! It had washers in under the bolts to tighten it the first time. I contacted them and explained and also sent them a video. By now it had damaged my balancing arm R1700 and my centre bar R5000 on my front sespension. On my next visit to them i asked to see the manager (Heather) she asked for my alighnment report and invoice and i told her to check on there system because all my information was there. I asked her to look at the work they had done on my vehicle but she did not want to look. There technical staff inspect and they confirmed that it was not how the job had to be done with washers to make it fit. I asked her what the solution was now and she rep**** by telling me that its my vehicle and i needed to decide if i was going to fix my own vehicle!! I then went to another establishment to get a second opinion (king mototor spares). The technician looked at my vehicle and asked why there was washer at the tirods and bolts. The wrong size tirods was fiited on my vehicle. He asked where the job was done and I told him Supa Quik. His response was that my vehicle was not the fisrt vehicle with the exact problem that came to them. The owner just decided to fix it and not take them on. This made me wonder about how many other clients experience this type of servive from Supa Quik Mafikeng because we as customers do not have the expertise in there field to know whats the right way. I paid for the replacement of the correct tirods and ballancing R1800. My bill now stood at about R9000 for a job that would only had to cost me about R1500!! They could not even show one bit of remorse or take any accountability for the poor workmanship and quality. Poor! Poor! Poor! And this is how they do people in and we as customers have to except it!? They take on work to get the money in and dont care if they cant manage to do it as long as they can make money. To put customers lives in danger by not doing the right thing when it comes to important things like vehicle suspension!
