I went to have my wheels rotated , balanced and alignment done. I was quoted R500. When they did the reading on my alignment, I was told that the reading on my one front tyres was far out. To fix this, they had to apparently do some extra alignment, which involved 5 minutes extra maneouvering. This, they told me was going to be an extra R650. I told them to go ahead because I don't want my tyres to wear out faster. So, in the end, they changed me R500 plus R650 PLUS VAT, which came out to R1247. I really feel like I've been taken for a ride. I looked up what people say about this issue and from what I gather, people say that it is a **** and that it all should have been included in the initial alignment quote. I will certainly never go there again. I think that when they quote people, they should also divulge that the amount does not include VAT.
