Supa Quick Bad Service at Menlyn Retail Park

Hello Peter I kindly request for assistance. I took my car to supa quick on 17 July 2015 because I heard a funny sound. I requested them to check my car and identify where the sound came from. The guy from supa quick lifted it up and checked but said he could not hear the sound. He then opened the boot from inside to check if the spare wheel was fastened and still said he did not hear the sound. I was given my car, I immediately opened the boot from inside it could not open. I then complained, the manager called one guy to check what caused the boot not to open. The guy said the pin was broken. But they refused that they broke it and said they could help me by bridging it. I then refused. I told the Joan that they should buy a new part and fix it properly but he refused and told me to report anywhere. I complained through the national consumer commission on the 4 August 2015 by completing the form they sent me after communicating with the telephonically. They kept on telling me that they did not receive my email. I had to keep on emailing. After receiving my complain on 29 October 2015 they referred my complain to motor industry ombudsman of South Africa (MIOSA) on 05 November 2015 and then sent me a form to complete, which I did. The form required me to go to supa quick since they wanted me to give supa quick an opportunity to resolve the problem. I went to supa quick and spoke to Jagues who told me that the manager, Joan was on paternity leave. He called the manager and they promised to call me the following day but they never called me. I then sent the form to motor industry to meet the deadline. MIOSA wrote me this year stating that I should do my homework and understand the manager is at his space, which I do not understand what they mean. I am not satisfied about the fact that supa quick did not replace the part they broke. The guy who checked my car was able to open my boot from inside, this means it was functioning when I took it to supa quick. But they do not want to take responsibility. I cannot open my boot from inside now and I do not have money to buy that part. Your assistance will be highly appreciated
