Poor Poor Poor Workmanship Done By Supa Quick

On 27th October 2016 I fitted front shocks and the housings on my Polo 1.6 Classic at the SUPA QUICK in Mossel Bay South Africa. I Paid in total R2210 for the work to be done. Then 2 months down the line when I drove up to Durban the car started making noises on the trip from Mossel Bay to Durban and there was all kinds of vibrations coming from the front suspension of the vehicle. I took the vehicle to Tiger Wheel And Tyre to do a suspension check on the vehicle and they told me that the bolt that holds the shock to the hub was not tightened and he also said that those bolt and nuts are lock nuts where you cant loosen by hand. Furhter more due to the bolt being loose on the vehicle its caused a number of damages to my suspension:

- tie rod ends

- stabilizer bar bushes

I also had to pay further more on my mechanic fees as well as to redo the wheel allignment and wheel balancing - which came to over R400.

Total Costs of the repairs to my vehicle came to over R1500 (I can give you an exact figure with all the reciepts i kept) which was really unnessary. And then on the other hand i drove the car with a loose bolt all the way from Mossel Bay to Durban with my family in the car, which is over 1300kms apart. I would like to know what is going to be done with this situation because i find it really annoying and unnessary.

I also have a video clip which i recorded on my phone while the car was on the hoist at tiger wheel and tyre.

Please can you contact me as soon as possible regarding this situation. ********** \

Thank You
