Incompetence with installing shock absorbers
On Friday I brought my Bantam to Supa Quick Schweizer-Reneke to have the shocks fitted.
I collected my Bantam to leave for a dentist appointment in a different town.
When I started driving, the first bump I went over it sounded like my Bantam is going to fall apart with loud bangs at the front wheels. I was very concerned about this but as I had a dentist appointment I could not go back immediately to Supa Quick. I drove slowly and tried to avoid any bumps. But it did not help much.
On Monday I went back to Supa Quick as my Bantam did not make a single sound with the old shocks. Vandre was not there so Pieter told me to open the bonnet so that he can have a look. He then noticed that the fitting used to fasten the shocks to the body was loose and upside down. The rubber on the one side was on top of the fastener and that the one shock pushed strait through the body when he pressed on the front end. I was completely shocked as I drove with *********** installed and incomplete shock assembly. Left my Bantam with them two days in a row and still not fixed. Given all sorts of excuses. Did not have this problems before them. Will not do business with Supa Quick again.Totally ***********
