Dangerous Wheels!

<p>I am a woman. As such my knowledge of motor vehicles and all that goes with it is not very good. Therefore I trust the service providers of maintenance and repair to advise and guide me when I take my car to them. Noticing that my right front tyre is significantly wearing down on one side I approached Supa Quick Nelspruit for advice. They advised me to adjust the wheel alignment, and I comp****. After they had finished I thought it strange that the damaged tyre was left on the car, the attendant, Doctor told me that I needed to change it. Ruffled that this was not a first priority I agreed and a new tyre was fitted at a price of R496-00. Driving home the car dangerously veered to the left and it was hard to keep the car on track. Worried about the danger this might pose I returned to Supa Quick, who changed the new right front tyre they put on the previous day to the left side of the vehicle. Driving home the car now veered dangerously to the right. At this point I am now pretty hot under the collar so I called in my baby brother's assistance, he is an appy at a local car dealership. When my brother confronted them, a whole new story was spun. As a layman in this field I did not know that one cannot only change one tyre at a time and that both tyres needed to be replaced. Why was this advice not offered by the proffessional service provider. Another red light is that now a single tyre no longer cost R496 but the price per tyre doubled to about R800 for a single tyre, Why is there this extraordinary price difference, did they push a faulty tyre onto a unsuspecting person? All I know is that Supa Quick Nelspruit dissapointed me with their poor service and that I shan't return there ever again!</p>
