Sunsynk battery problem

Upgraded my Sunsynk system with a second sunsynk 5kw battery only to find out that the new sunsynk battery is different to the one I already had, and it is not compatible with the old one and keeps on getting an alarm condition. Ran the new battery on its own for 3 days no problem, the minute it is connected to the other battery the alarm condition is on again. not impressed
