Puppy Adoption ****

WARNING: PUPPY ADOPTION **** Good Day All, I would like to just warn you all to be very careful regarding puppy adoption ****s. My husband and I was looking to add a puppy to our family over this weekend. We saw a lot of websites. We then emailed and whatsapp a lady on ***: JENNIFER VAN DEEREN: *** on the 15th January 2022. She then sends us an email back, regarding Shih Tzu puppies for good homes. (www.sunsetpuppieshome.com) The email below: Thank you for your interest in our babies. Our puppies are 8 weeks old and are getting to 9 weeks and are ready to join their new homes. Puppies are very well socialized with children, adults and other home pets. We put in a lot of time with our puppies to make sure that they grow up with a very good temperament that will suit every home, and are proud to produce happy and confident puppies. We breed for type and temperament, we produce healthy puppies suitable for family pets.

We have 5 puppies left, each puppy cost R4500 to new homes and they are: Christa female, Glory Female ,Nora female, Frank male, Bertrand Male

We choose a holistic approach for our puppies' diet, keeping it as close to natural as possible. We add vegetables, fish and eggs to their diet. Our puppies are immunized, micro chipped, flea treated, wormed, with a full vet health check. Parents are 100% purebred excellent dogs from a worldwide champion bloodline. We are more than happy to help you with this wonderful breed.

If you do not mind, i will like to ask you some few questions and please do answer these questions with sincerity because we will only give out our puppies to a home that provides positive answers to these questions :

Firstly, Where are you Located? Do you promise to love and cherish the puppy? Do you have kids? Have you ever owned a puppy before ? Are you buying for breeding purposes? Which of the babies are you interested in ? How many puppies are you looking at? Give us a brief description about your environment?

We are based in Upington, Northern Cape, South Africa. Transportation can be arranged for your door step or pick up at any local airport, if you are not around or will not be able to come pick up your puppy. We arrange delivery for your door step at a low cost. I wait to read from you soon.

We then sent her a whatsapp back, telling her that it cost a lot of money and we don’t have that amount at all. She then asked how much can we afford? Which we indicated R1500. She then said ok but we should promise her that we will take very good care of the puppy. I then send her a picture of the 2 dogs we have Skye and Hope. We asked her a few question regarding where they are based and how will the puppy be delivered to us. I asked her if there will be extra cost involved and she said no. Then she send us a whatsapp that transportation will cost R800 for delivery over at your doorstep which will take just a few hours as they be flown by air in a very comfortable condition, also the courier will take proper care of the puppy while on flight to your destination. We shall be needing the following information from you to process transfer of ownership certificates, health guarantee, generic guarantee and for delivery arrangement with the courier company. Then we asked her how the payment works and if we can pay half and the other half when the puppy is delivered and she indicated YES. We had some concern which we asked her more question regarding the delivery and if this is not a ****??

She then sends us other email with the below: I can understand your fear,I can also see you sound skeptical from your words, and that's very wrong, and if you're thinking that I just want to take your money for nothing. When I known how people work hard to earn a living, then you are wrong i will never think of taking advantage over you, take that off your mind, that is really awful and also against my believe I will never think such an evil act and am not trying to lure you into this, Well i expect you to feel that way but there is one thing you must know, always have faith in whatever thing you are doing, I am a God fearing person and i know what should be done. I give you my word on this, I am going to ship your puppy and I mean it. I have great respect and dignity for my family that i won't stoop so low as to ***** people out of their hard earned money all in the name of *****. that is awful and not in my religion ? so i would want you to give me your full trust . My husband then gave her a call just to hear voice and ask her a more questions. After that we made a payment to her phone: ewallet – R750, to which we send her proof of payment. Then she said the Glory puppy will be delivered at 6 for 6: 45 last night. She then said that she was going to process the paper work and update us. Then at: 11:38 she said that the transport refused to transport the puppy in a wooden box. They asking us to rent a crate from the courier company to transport the puppy. This is what she said I then asked her how does they normally transport the puppies? Then she said they normally transport in a wooden box, but the transport indicated that they don’t do it this way anymore. She then said that renting is R1800, which they only have R800. I then indicated to her that we don’t have that money at all and she told us that there will be no extra cost involve. She indicated that her husband said they can only pay the R1000. We then paid her another R300. But up till today the puppy has not been delivered. We tried calling her and send her messages, which she read and not reply.

So people be very careful regarding these puppy adoption ****s and they use God’s name in vain and use those cute pictures
