Beware - *****ulent Business

Purchased a cold room including delivery from Sunrose Online. Paid a deposit, a week later was told the cold room was ready for delivery. I paid the balance and then never received the cold room despite numerous requests for information on the whereabouts of the cold room. Each time I enquired I was provide with a new lie. The sales person I was dealing (Shaahid) with was very evasive and dishonest. Eventually he referred me to one of the directors called Zaheer. He was equally evasive and dishonest. Eventually I resorted to driving down to Durban and I was provided with a cold room door from the shop and referred to a factory to pick up my cold room panels. They didn’t have a refrigeration unit in stock and I was told it would be there the next day. I drove down to Durban 2 days later to collect my refrigeration unit. Fortunately it had just arrived. I noticed that they had employed a bouncer for the day and when I requested a refund for my R4000 delivery charge to be refunded they became very aggressive and threatened to kick us out of the shop. They use the excuse that the JHB branch is not the same business as the Durban branch, but they both have the same VAT number and the bank account is an FNB account in Westville, Durban. Eventually left with the refrigeration unit but had to give up on my refund for the delivery which was never made. I suppose I should be thankful that I managed to receive something, because at one stage it looks like I was going to receive nothing for my R52000 spent. These guys are ****mers of the highest order. They even post **** reviews on any review platform to try and hide all the negative reviews, of which there are numerous. I wouldn’t advise doing any business with them.
