Bad customer service & faulty equipment

Poor poor service from Sunrose in Durban. They offer the best service when you are purchasing from them, but after that you are on your own.

We bought a 2 deck oven, it only worked for a month and a week, thereafter if just went quiet. We were not using the oven everyday in that month.

We reached out to them and they told us that they will video call us with their technician, their technician will take a look at the oven via the video call. After days of begging them to call us, they finally did. Lo and behold, the technician started giving us instructions on how to fix the problem!! We immediately asked not to continue with the exercise because we are bakers not electricians.

They then requested that we find a way to get the oven to them which will be at an extra cost to us. Mind you this is a "brand new" oven that suddenly stopped working after a month of use.

Because of the oven's poor performance we requested for a refund because what if they fix it and it stops working again. It makes no sense to pay thousands of rands for a brand new oven that will only work for a month.

They are refusing to give us a refund.

DO NOT BUY from SUNROSE!!!
