Sad state of Sunningdale 5s indoor football courts
It is so sad to write about the terrible state of the Sunningdale 5s soccer courts. The owners and managers should be ashamed. Not a cent of revenue gets put back into maintenance. The boards are falling apart, the nets are being held up by a sock…a pack of 100 cable ties is R50. Stop lining your pockets and fix the place up. The pitch has holes in it, bunched up pieces of turf all over, holes in the turf so deep that the concrete is showing through, it’s an injury risk of note. Any parents letting their kids play or train at Sunningdale soccer 5s is risking their kids getting terribly injured by the uneven and broken pitch. One cannot expect to pay full asking price for a pitch that is a safety hazard. If you have not signed an indemnity form don’t, you can claim any injuries due to a hazardous environment you are paying to play on. Pull up your socks Sunningdale soccer 5s…you are letting every person who pays to play on your pitch down and are letting the Sunningdale community down due to your lack-of attention and maintenance on the indoor courts.
