Reputable company can't help who will?

I purchased sunglasses from sunglass hut a year ago which is a rayban. So in the beginning of this year I noticed there where rust spots beginning to develop in the front of the frame so I went to Pavillion sunglasseshut store to find out how I go about repairing my sunglasses they had told to contact the call centre so I did and they told me to lodge a complaint via email which I did and also forwarded pictures of the sunglasses.They had rep**** and given me a reference number and said they will contact me after 3 to 4 days. Thereafter i went on to contact the call center due to the fact that they had not contacted me via email over a week.So when I spoke to they call center agent they stated that they can't do anything to repair my calls even though I feel it was a manufacturing default remember that these are expensive glasses not just from the street I even offered to pay for the repairs and they said they can't help me I would have never expected such words from such a reputable company .I feel this is absolutely outrageous cause why sell a sunglasses if u cant fix it. I'm absolutely frustrated right now because I'm running around like a headless chicken to fix these glasses and I know sunglass hut will help because that's the place I bought it from but unfortunately sunglass hut has let me down. This is a horror story. All I need is my glasses to be fixed and remrmber rust only forms when submerged in water and hell you not going to tell me I used my glasses when I was swimming or in the rain this is a manufacturers default and I'm awaiting feedback asap.
