RayBan Repair Nightmare
I bought a pair of RayBan's at Sunglass Hut on the 27th November 2015 - model RB4068 at a price of R2 290.00. I have a two year old who then accidently broke the earpiece of my brand new pair of glasses. I took the pair back to Sunglass Hut to have the earpiece replaced. I was informed via email that they do not have the parts for this model and therefore I am at liberty to buy a new pair at 50% discount!

I thought this was strange and went back to the shop and was assisted by a very good sales lady (Gailene) who then phoned the repairs who confirmed that they indeed have such a part!!! I was quoted R800.00 for the repair but had to wait for an email to confirm this - I've been waiting and upon my return to the shop again - I was told their systems are down! To date, no email and no service - four months later. Never was I not willing to pay (a ridiculous price for the repair of an earpiece!) or a substitute pair at 50% - did I mention they did not have stock when I was SO desperate to even buy a new pair!

Ironically enough, in the Sunglass Hut invoice package, it states specifically: \PERFECT PAIR PROMISE\" - none of those criteria were met?!!!"
