Poor & Shocking Service from Sunglasses Hut
I went into a Sunglasses Hut branch (Mall of Africa) to purchase a pair, which they didn't have in stock. They advised me to buy online. Which I did. I bought a pair on the Sunglasses Hut website, which redirects you to Zando at checkout. Zando delivered a defective pair. The frames are bent, and the glasses are falling off. I went to Sunglasses Hut (Centurion Mall - Woolworths & Edgars), and they said they can't exchange the for because "I did not buy from them"... I took them through my purchase process which was THROUGH THE Sunglasses Hut website... one of the consultants insinuated that Zando/ TakeALot delivers "defects" from Atterbury to customers. How is a brand this big, having a 3rd party company excute part of their sales process so poorly, and still want to distance themselves from it, when the actual purchase is made through the Sunglasses Hut?! Extremely disappointed by this, and I'll be sharing this experience with everyone. No respect for customer's money. Not to mention that the stores have a number when you Google, but it doesn't even go through. From both Malls.

I bought one voucher of R800 from sunglasshut sandton mall in Nov 2019 expiring on 27th nov 2022..i went there on 25th nov with voucher and gift card but they were saying this card is expired and there is nothing in tjis..there is another gift card number on voucher but they were saying its not uploaded in system..we said to them where is our mistake in this bcoz that lady who issued us that card may be she gave us wrong card or whatever..but they are saying we cNt help in this..if they cant whonis going to help

I was told that I should contact warranty and send in pictures. I did exactly that. A week had gone by and I received not even an acknowledgement receipt from them. I then called in. I was told that they had not received my email and to resend it which I did. I still received no acknowledgement, not even the computer generated one. It appears that they are waiting for the warranty to expire so that they will not have to be accountable for the breakage. In future please be weary of this. Check the quality of the glasses properly especially those that have been marked down. This is really unacceptable!

I am so disappointed and disgusted by the services of sunglass hut,I returned my glasses immediately after I bought them the 15th of September ,3 weeks later and I still haven't received my refund.i called Jolene from Sunglass Hut several times with no luck,please pay back my money.

Worst customer experience and refusal to take back item on a claim that i damaged it
I bought sunglasses at their cradlestone branch while traveling i got home and when i tried on the glasses they seemed too big and were falling off my face i took them back at their fourways branch and the lady that works there Thembi Machika was very rude and discerning. She refused to take back the sunglasses saying they have a scratch and said i need to take them back to the branch i purchased them from, now she spoke about me signing for terms i do not see anywhere on the receipt where it says a damaged item must be sent back to the store it was purchased from now what if i traveled out of Joburg what then.I never wore them i Teach your staff members the value of customer service and treating all customers equally she was on the phone the whole time chatting to her friends and not even bothered that she has a frustrated customer.

You just lost a loyal client.
I am highly disappointed at your V&A Waterfront branch yesterday (Saturday) when I walked into the shop without a mask as the guy behind the counter was without a mask when a female salesperson approached me and told me to either wear a mask or leave the shop. Now I have been a customer for sometime and bought from various branches for the past 2-3 yrs, in fact I bought a pair of Oakleys at V&A i believe the previous weekend and i was without mask no problem.
I have walked through the V&A mall and into various shops past security and i had no problem not wearing a mask.
The majority of shops are relaxing the approach to mask wearing and i as someone that struggles with breathing wearing a mask prefer not to wear one.
With the salesperson attitude and insistence i will never support Sunglass Hut ever again.
We purchased a pair for my wife inside the mall.

I bought cream of maize with webs and worms inside, previously it was meat that was rotten and had to be thrown out. I've never returned the meat but with the cream of maize I did and they were unapologetic.

Bought a defective watch. They refused to refund me. The watch was under gaurentee but I had to pay for courier cost to Jburg to be repaired. It was send to S.Bacher 5 times and still did not work. In the process the gaurentee expired. Took watch to a private watchmaker no work was done on watch - still broken. Sedgars took no responsibility - gaurentee has expired. Be careful to do business with them.

I read the reviews they did not give me comfort at all. I emailed them to see if they will reply. They replied instantly. I was still worried about receiving my product. They delivered my product on time as they promised and it is what I have ordered.

Zara Menlyn Returns and Refund always gives me issues
My experience in Return Torn expensive item with the receipt and find a very Rude Manager by the name of Mantwa who for many incidents of my returns has never bothered to assist me efficiently.
I bought two similer pants on the 15th November and both were torn , when I return them on the 25th with the receipt attached I was told they logging a customer service incident I’ll get feedback on the 28th November, until today no one ever came back to me , lm stuck here with a torn pants for over R600 ,I had options to buy in other stores but I chose to buy@zara looking for the best quality only wasted my money for poor quality , now im struggling to get my Refund , The so called Manager she is so Rude and her attitude to clients will mess up the Zara brand
