Dishonest and ******** store assistant

I bought a pair of RayBan sunglasses from Sunglass hut - Woolworths in canal walk in July 2022. I hardly ever wear the pair. I noticed that they were too wide but never got to deal with that issue but only recently I Notified the store and they said I should take them to another store within canal walk. I did, the only lady that was at the store on that day put the sunglasses in the hot machine and they looked fine thereafter. When I got home to show my sister, I noticed a number of chips that were not there before taking them in. I took them back, it was DENY DENY DENY. Got a call 3 weeks after taking them back in for “assessment” that I needed to tell my side of the story. “It’s now a story” Yesterday I decided to visit the store since I couldn’t get through their line. I was indirectly told that there’s nothing they can do and the regional manager, was at the branch and also decided it wasn’t their fault that the sunglasses had chips on them.

I have purchased more than 5 pairs of sunglasses from sunglass hut over the years and was always made to believe that service and customer satisfaction was their thing. Unfortunately that’s not the experience you get when you have a complaint.
