Worst experience ever

<p>Did the Cascades survey and got a response thanking me for taking part in their survey. Completed a review on Sun City resort on facebook and was advised someone would contact me. That was 2 days ago. Im still waiting. </p> <p> </p> <p>Worst ever sun city experience by far and definitely not worth the money we paid!<br />The staff friendliness was inconsistent, one minute they were friendly, the next minute they didnt even acknowledge our presence even when we spoke to them! The prices of rental items at the Valley of Waves changed from day to day. It rained for two days during our stay and there is definitely not much indoor kids activities to occupy kids for two straight days! We came for the outdoor activities...</p> <p>Room 208 Cascades - Check in took 30 minutes plus. We were meant to have the superior luxury family room and instead got the luxury family room, the sink was clogged, there was no gowns or slippers in the room, the sleeper couch was old and creaky, and wifi did not work/was extremely slow for two days. I noticed other rooms on the same floor with better beds for the kids than the one in our room. It rained for two days during our stay and therefore we were unable to enjoy the outdoor activities.</p> <p>Room 305 Soho hotel - Bathroom had a lot of ants, tap and bath water was yellow and therefore we had to buy our own drinking water even for my kettle, the ceiling had a leak, housekeeping took an hr and half to bring the blankets for my kids and Doom for the ants despite follow up calls, the breakfast area smelt like sewerage which is a health hazard! No alternative arrangements were made for us to have breakfast elsewhere.</p> <p>Room 5828 Cabanas - Toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner and coffee was not replaced the next day when the room was cleaned. Sink and shower was not cleaned when the room was cleaned. Wifi did not work/was very slow.</p>
