Wild Coast Sun Beach Horse Riding - BEWARE!

Do not go to the Horse Riding on the Beach at Wild Coast Sun! The horses are wild, uncontrollable and afraid of water. Even the equipment is substandard and fails. My husband is a police trained equestrian and was thrown off his horse, because the horse was a afraid of the water and did not listen to commands. First time round the stirrib broke off when the horse went into a trot with him and he fell on his head. They replaced it and then the second time the horse was in full speed and got a fright from the water and threw him off, with serious injuries as a result. The third time he got on another horse to take him back to the stables because he could not walk from the previous fall. When he tried to mount the horse, the whole saddle shifted to the side of the horse. We were even told that our two horses could not come close to one another as they would start to kick and jump. After my husband fell and was unable to walk, the employee would not allow me to ride my horse alone back to the stables and said that the horse is wild and will jump with me and throw me off. These are not the type of horses to be used where also women and children want to do this activity of Horse Riding on the Beach. Even communication with the employee on the horse was difficult as he cannot speak proper English or understand. My husband has torn and stretched ligaments and muscles due to the throw from the horse. I would not recommend this place to anyone as the horses are not safe to ride on. Worst experience ever!
