Wedding anniversary

I am a Sun City (Sun international employee) and had the privilege and honor to stay over at the Palace of the Lost City and would just like to describe my / our overnight stay / experience: As I am an employee I was not thinking about special treatment from the palace staff, they all new me by name and I knew some of them a well, so if the treatment I got was only for staff, me and my wife was blown out of the water, I can just imagen how a guest must feel when he comes to visited Sun City. From stopping at the front entrance we got greeted with a smile and all the employees was friendly and helpful, explaining us the process of what will now be happening with the vehicle and how they will be going about getting our luggage to the room. When we arrived at the room there was a lady finishing up the room by laying out our garments on the bed putting some sweets on the pillow and distributing rose pebbles all over the room even going so far a making a nice heart shape rose on the bed and lighting some candles next to the bed, O… need to add in it was our wedding anniversary, she was very friendly and polite. The room was wonderfully laid out as well, we even got a nice welcome letter from the GM, Caron van Rooyen and also a nice card from the Guest Relations Manager, Francois du Toit to congratulate us on our anniversary and also we got a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Later that evening we decided to go for supper at the Main Hotel and called for transport to take us there as we left the room, by the time we got to the front entrance they were waiting for use already. The driver greeted me by name and we had a lovely conversation while driving to the Main Hotel and later another drive came to pick us up just as quickly. So what I am saying is if the staff of the Palace is this good to me and the same to guest or even better there is no 5 star hotel that I can think of that can beat this level of service. My wife and I would like to thank all the relevant Palace staff people involved making this day special, it will truly be a day we will never forget and I think that is what all guest coming to the Palace and Resort would like to take home.
