Unfair pricing

On arrival at the Lugogo Sun I asked the Front desk if there were any specials. I was told no. I was booking in for a two night stay. I paid upfront (R3400) The following day I noticed a special running in the newspaper offering B&B for R1000. I promptly went to the Front desk to enquire. While waiting I noticed all other patrons were paying R1000 per evening. The front desk said he charges what he wants and he could even charge me R2400 per night. I have been waiting for the senior manager to return my calls and mails. I have sent numerous amounts of emails explaining the situation with no comeback at all. The hotel is also run down and needs major renovations . Especially the carpets, interior of the lift and the lighting needs to work within the rooms. I have taken pictures of the above. The staff were completely unhelpful in all regards. Such a pity... I had such fond memories of the Lugogo Sun.
