Turned away

It was our first night at Sun City on the 29th April and we wanted to have supper at a nice restaurant. We called The Crystal court restaurant and enquired about a reservation. We told the lady that we stayed at the Cabanas and asked if we are we allowed to dine at the Crystal Court restaurant. She said it was no problem and took down our details to make a reservation for 4 people at 8.30pm. We got dressed and took a ride to the Palace for supper all very excited. When we got to the entrance of the Hotel the staff gentlemen at the door refused to let us in. We said we made a reservation and he could speak to the restaurant manager but he refused to call anyone to assist. He said we had to leave. We left which was after 8pm already and all other restaurants were closing or fully booked. It was a unpleasant first day at Sun City. The attitudes and courtesy of staff members at Sun City were very poor. It is a bad reflection on South African culture to the rest of the world.
