Terrible Service ?

Sun City North West

I am rather disappointed and most dissatisfied with the terrible experience I came across yesterday on the 4th of August 2018. I bought two tickets for me and my sister which i highly regret deeply.

What happened is we got there at 4 pm because the event said it would start at 5pm thinking perhaps the doors will open prior 5 as communicated that doors will open at 4pm. Well we where denyed to go in and made to wait until around a few minutes to 5 when it was packed.

Fine well that wasn't a problem we stand in the que only for our tickets to be turn in half and thrown in a box and we were given yellow bands to where on our wrists my sister than asked the lady if shes throws them away she said yes well we headed inside lucky we could recall our seat numbers and the entrence door 12.

This was now 5pm the starting time of the event or well the time the event was supposed to start. We than made our way to entrance 12 got there stood for a good 20min with the door not being opened I said 20 minutes standing and then well we called a security person who than went to go and find out why is the door not opened yet? I mean this was supposed to be communicated if the door does not work or not functioning even a note on the door would do.

Fine the security lady comes back and says we should use entrence 8 as our seats are located down stairs,she confirmed that there are stairs at entrance 8 inside behind the screen then we can go down and have our seats alright well we walked all the way only to meet a rude security officer who said he will not let us in as people who use that entrance have certain color wrist band!

He was so rude and was not willing to help then we continued to ask him how do we get in then if he refuses to let us in he continued to inform us that he will not let us in no matter what we can go to entrance 3 rather we had to hussle and answer as to how we get to entrance 3 rudely again he answered.

We than walked like dogs with tails tugged in took an escalater to entrance 3 mind you time is moving theres a lot of people trying to go in we finally get our chance and the security lady refuses to let us in because we do not have tickets she then rudely informs us that its her job to request tickets, she will not let us in with out them. We tried to explain she did not seem interested well we had no choice but to go back upper level back to the entrance go and ask for our torn tickets back as if it was our fault! As if we making peoples jobs difficult but really my life was made difficult a terrible experience!

It doesn't stop there we get to were we started and the ladies make us help them look for our tickets in the book next to them find our 3 piece tickets could not find the last piece urgently hurry to entrance 3 again to the security lady who finally lets us in while people trying to settle in now its passed 5pm.

She than leads us to people wearing black and white saying they will show us our seat we get to the lady she says follow the other lady she will show u. We followed her only to find out that she was only showing other people thier seats and not us she tells us.

Okey we go back to the lady who said we must follow her they were in a group so frustrated we explained the whole situation than one lady decided to walk us back where our tickets were torn and thrown away were we got our bands from when we get there we were rudely informed that entrance 12 does not work and it has never been opened as if we should know this and then they said we should use entrence 11 we walked to there with the poor lady dressed in black and white she hands us to another lady on that side to show us our seats.

Finally we sat down at 6pm walked up and down tired, irritated and full of regret. I then wait for the event to start only for it to start at 6:30pm.

I mean how do you explain such unprofessionallism. I was served as if i got those tickets for free while i bought them. Such untrained staff who cant just be polite when explain and not treat us. Never in my life have i been treated like this so much energy was drawn from all the walking by the time the event started i was so angry i had reached my boiling point i mean even when the event was delayed at an hour 30 min nothing was communicated.

Sun City I am beyond dissatisfied with the trouble i had to go through even worse it was my sister's 1st time in sun city and this is her 1st experience that was ushered to her after i recommended it.
