SUNCITY ...wasteful spending!

We booked accomodation at the cascades hotel suncity, which is advertised as a 5star hotel. Our room had very visable spider webs, which seemed to not have been cleaned ever! The aircon sounded like a truck...we called Maintenance twice to remedy this eventually around 11-45 pm someone came to check it as we could not sleep through the noise. I complained upon check out and via email to the guest relations manager who admitted that the experience was not acceptable yet all he rendered was an apology! I followed up numerous times to even get a response. SUNCITY quality has deteriorated so much over the years and it is not at all worth the exorbitant rates....very disappointed that my weekend was ruined and that the management show no remorse or willingness to remedy the situation. This was before the storm damage to the resort even I can only imagine the terrible state suncity is in post the storm restoration.
