Sun City Vacation Club Theft

Being a regular visitor that stays at Sun City resort a minimum of twice a year for the past 9 years, it saddens me to write this complaint.

We stayed at the Sun City Resort Vacation club in room 163 from 16-18 November 2018 and had the following issues : 1. The safe was not working and had come to fix it 2. The ceiling on the patio was dripping water (from what we are not sure as it had not rained that week or weekend) 3. Two bottles of liquor was ****** from our unit to the value of around R600.

On our return day, I called the Security office of Vacation club to complaint and report what had happened and the manager (Obed Ndlovu) requested that I write an email to report the matter. I emailed the following people after many attempts to receive feedback : Obed Ndlovu Melusi Mkhonza Israel Botlhale Ndiafhi T****angoni

and all just gave me a repeated response of "we are investigating the issue and will get back to you".

My question : Where are supposed to keep your food and drinks in a self catering resort??? Is it a visitors fault that things are ****** when leaving food, drinks and clothes in your unit unattended to?

After many weeks, I finally received a response from Ben Kopele say that they apologize for the loss and they unfortunately no further information available to continue the investigation.

Is this really your resolution to the matter??? After paying dearly to stay at Sun City with family and friends, is this the resolution you receive to an issue experienced? It is very clear since the last 2 years that we have been visiting Sun City, that the resort is deteriorating and the lack of maintenance and security is very evident. Sad, but I guess I will take my family elsewhere in future.
