Sun City Palace. Not as good as you might think…

We booked into Suncity Palace from the 5-9 of January. Staying at the palace you would expect a certain level of excellence given the amount you are paying. On day 1 our toilet was leaking. They sent up housekeeping who’s solution was to put down a whole lot of towels. We further complained and maintainance was then sent at 11 pm to fix. Another of our rooms booked has blocked sinks.

We had to wait over 30 min every time we needed a shuttle. The busses for the other hotels were passing us several times and still no shuttle for palace. We had to call them several times to ask for a shuttle as we had waited so long. We booked supper one night at the Ocean basket. We waited 30 min for a table and when we eventually got the table, we were advised by the waiter that there was no cutlery. He still took our orders for drinks and food but thought he could remember everything. We even asked him to write it down and he said don’t worry he got it covered. Not surprising both our drinks and food orders where all wrong. There was also a bug 🐜 in the sushi that was the wrong order.

This was the worse experience ever. It’s even more frustrating as you expect to go on holiday to relax before the hustle and bustle starts however this was very frustrating.
