sun city - everything closed / run down

I need to have a moan ......<br> I stayed at sun city last September and loved it but this last weekend was not up to scratch .<br> <br> I understand that winter is the best time for the resort to do maintenance but surly there should be a notice up on the website so that people know when to book .<br> As it was school holidays I guess I expected more .<br> <br> The train ride - closed<br> The only heated pool - closed <br> The dining situation was appalling :<br> Vacation club restaurant - closed<br> Squires - closed<br> Fish monger - closed <br> Don't serve dinner at the cabanas .<br> Pizza place at the entertainment world - closed .<br> <br> Then to top it off at breakfast I was not aware that we had to produce our room card with envelope and the lady went off at my husband for not having it . Like shouted at him !<br> The bathroom was run down in our room and at 3:30 in the afternoon I had to go find a lady to come make up our room , we had been out at the game reserve at 7:00 so the room was empty all day .<br> <br> I called the cabanas manager and she said that she would call me back ...still waiting .<br> The whole weekend was a waste of money and time .
