SUN CITY - CHANGING TIMESHARE DATES WITHOUT CONSENT/NOTIFICATION

We purchased the Sun City Vacation Club - Peak week 5 (First Friday to Second Friday of January every year)

We have been going there for the last 20 years. Originally we purchased the first 15 years and when that expired we purchased again for the same week for another 10 years.

When we called to reserve our units for our dates for 2022, we were advised that Sun City without any notice or consent has changed our Peak week 5 to the second Friday to the third Friday of December 2021, alternatively we can swop our Peak week (always in the holidays) to a flexi week (during the school term).

The price difference between a peak week and a flexi week is vastly different, and yet we will receive no refund for our peak week purchased.

This year (Jan 2021) when we went to Sun City, our week started on the Monday 04/01/2021 to the Monday 11/01/2021. When we asked Sun City why we could not do this again for 2022, they advised that their Trustees made the decision to change our dates to December and we can not be accommodated in January as per the normal week which we purchased and had been going to for the last 20 years, unless we convert our peak week to a flexi week during the school term.

I am so absolutely disgusted with their lack of service, especially since we have been patrons of their establishment for such a long time.
