Standard drop at Suncity Vacation club

Being someone that has visited suncity atleast twice a year for the past 7 years, Im extremely disappointed in the upkeep and maintenance.

When purchasing a deal for the vacation club package, you’re promised all the bells and whistles. However this isnt the case.

We visited the resort last weekend being the 30th October to the 2nd November for our annual vacation club break unit 335. Its our second year and I’m extremely disappointed in the units. It promised a 4 star stay but has really dropped. 2 of our unit bathrooms had blocked toilets, after numerous phone calls maintenance appeared and barely did anything. Problem persisted. Showers arent cleaned well, cleaning services might as well not come through. Floors arent mopped or swept. Safe doesnt work and dust everywhere. One would expect that with covid, more precautions would be taken with cleaning being a priority. The cherry on top however was the broken base on the bed in the main bedroom and as per the norm nothing was done when brought to receptions attention.

Honestly not looking forward to the rest of the years at vacation club. Curious to see if hotel standards have dropped this year too.
