Shocking service at The Coffee Shop, Grand West

There used to be a House of Coffees restaurant at Grand West which was great. Over the weekend I went to the shop that replaced it - The Coffee Shop. The waiter couldn't speak English (or Afrikaans). After waiting quite a bit for our order in an empty restaurant, the waitress got two things wrong. One of the things she got right was a fruit smoothy. At a price point of R37 you expect something decent. Turned out it was just drinking yogurt with no fruit in. My daughter ordered a chocolate and banana pancake. There was no chocolate on the pancake. Just a little bit of nutella spread. The filter coffee I ordered was weak and I didn't finish it. This was a first and last experience.
