Renovations without notification - Unpleasant stay

Major renovations to the cabanas without informing us prior to booking/checking in made for a very unpleasant stay as the ramps were cemented forcing us to carry our pram up stairs. Excessive noise due to a jack hammers etc, dodging wheelbarrows full of cement running up and down the walk way from the cement truck to where they are throwing the slab. If we knew the construction was going on we would have booked an alternative weekend. Please in future notify customers / close sections of the hotel where renovations are taking place. Thanks.
