Poor Service

I recently got married at Sibaya conference center and many of my guests including myself booked accommodation at the lodge. I personally booked 3 rooms in November (along with many other family members) last year and paid half the balance for the rooms. My wedding was in April. <br> <br> When my guests got to the lodge they were informed no payment was made and staff demanded that they pay. I was informed upon booking that payment can be made upon check out. My husband had to personally leave our wedding to sort the issue out so my guests were comfortable resulting him missing out on time with friends and family.<br> <br> I was contacted 2 days before my wedding stating that no payment was made and I furnished all reference numbers so they could trace my deposit. Everything was in order but clearly there is a lack of communication between staff. Some of my guests actually ended up going home and it reflected so poorly on Sibaya that they are so ***********. I was not allowed to enjoy the evening with all these hassles and someone needs to seriously do something about the incompetence of the staff members. I will never stay there again.
