PERSONAL ITEMS ****** FROM ROOM

We booked from the 4 - 6 Sept at the Cascades Hotel. On the 4 Sept we went out for the evening and left our stuff in the room. On 5 Sept housekeeping came to clean room but we were still asleep so the room was not cleaned. We then left the room at about 16h30 to go for dinner and when we came back to the room by 19h00, the room was cleaned by housekeeping. On Sunday morning while checking out my friends purse was missing with all her cash and al her bank cards with Id and drivers license. I immediately called reception to find out who did the housekeeping. When we checked out I was told by reception that they are trying to find out but nobody up until today has even contacted me. I find this outrageous. The only people who had access to our room was housekeeping. How can a purse go missing like that out of the blue. I received an email from Sun City to complete a customer suvey and I had complained about my stay. To my surprise I got feedback from a manager at the Sun City Hotel and she said that it came to the wrong hotel. How do you keep customers happy if this is the service that is provided. I am so disappointed with the Sun City Cascades.....Not a happy customer at all.
