One Star service at a 5 Star Hotel -Table Bay Cape Town

What a disappointment !!!! From "check-in" to staff who seemed as if they did not even want to be there. When trying to order a drink & meal in the Lounge - no one came to take an order for 20mins.We then decided to go to the Bar Area & there was no staff there at all !!! When we enquired from a Security Guard, if we could order a drink in the Bar , we were told the Barman was "unavailable" Breakfast room , no aircon ...sad looking portions of food that looked as if it had been standing there for weeks. A Breakfast room that was so warm , it felt like a Sauna - no aircons on , no doors open. Bacon that looked like biltong....how disappointing ....and this was a special Birthday celebration. Thank goodness we booked another restaurant for the evening !!!
