NO to movies@silverstar

We booked 5 tickets to watch Venom without checking the age restriction which was a fault on our side. When entering movies the usher sent us to th manager, Marius to help sort it out. While trying to explain to him that we cannot have a refund for the movies only as we had already bought the popcorn etc. Marius was extremely rude and abrasive which in turn made my husband very angry. After much shouting we took the option of getting 3 tickets for the kids to watch another movie. For 5 3D movie tickets we were refunded R21 for the difference of 3D to a 2D movie. Marius told us that we could write comments or a review and nothing would be done. His blase attitude and customer service is not suitable for the position he holds in this type of industry. It has ruined our family evening out and my question is. . .why are the tickets and confectionery sold if the age restriction is only going be brought to our notice after an embarrassing situation is caused and the money already taken by ********** We brought my nephew to watch Abengers, Infinity Wars when he was 11 years old and this was not a problem. While mu kids were watching Johnny Enhlish the sound cut out and lights turned on during the movie. This is a negative reflection on movies@silverstar and as we are regular patrons very disappointing.
