Lost property sold

We've reported my wife's ipad lost during a visit to the Sun City Cascades Hotel in September 2014. To date we've not received any word form the Hotel about the Ipad. Yesterday (15.08.2015) we received a message from a person claiming to have bought the Ipad from a lost property auction held at Sun City. He had her email address and cellphone number (proving that this was indeed the Ipad) - the Hotel could have contacted us if they were serious about customer service and returning lost property.<br> It's disappointing to know that the Hotel would rather sell 'lost' property than attempt to contact the legal owner.<br>
