Lack of Communication

On the 19th was my fiance's birthday and mine was on the 26th - the day we checked in at the lodge. We thought there is no better place to spend our birthdays at than Sibaya Lodge, as this was the place where we met 6 years ago - sentimental. We got there on Friday, we showered in the evening before we could go out and left the room. We returned to the room just after midnight and there was no water, at this stage we were ok with it. Things like this do happen, Saturday morning my partner just managed to have a shower with water that was less than luke warm. I was not able to shower until later in the day - a day wasted as I could not leave the room, we got dressed and decided to go out. That evening we went for supper to A2A, my partner had a piece of tandoori chicken it was literally raw on the inside, he brought it to the managers attention, his plate was taken away and not even an apology given. Saturday we got to the room at about 3am, to find there is no water again- this became ridiculous. We had no choice but to go to bed that morning without having a bath, so Sunday we were to check out and woke up at approx 9.30am. We woke up, all excited for the buffet breakfast that th
