HEAVY HANDED, ****** SUNCITY SECURITY

****** ENTITLED SPONSORS FOR THE SHEBEEN. It was going to be awesome. We chose to spend the RWC final at The Shebeen. We were told a week in advance that we couldn't book a table. So we didn't. Saw that there were 3 prime tables reserved. For the WHITE sponsors. I make this point because they were White. There were probably 6 of them in a table which seated 20. Black patrons saw the empty benches and sat down. They were unceremoniously removed by security because the White sponsor took umbrage that Black people sat on his bench. One Indian gent was infact harassed by security simply for sitting there and then bundled into a security car and removed from the premises, JUST BECAUSE HE SAT on an empty bench that the sponsors at The Shebeen deemed that entire space theirs. Even though they weren't using it. I couldn't find where this young Indian gent was taken to. My husband was actually outside when he bundled into a security car and protested. He was threatened too. But knew his rights. My husband went on to tell the sponsor of the event at The Shebeen that his actions were divisive and ******. I went to to speak to Andrew, the Manager, that, inasmuch as we appreciated their efforts to make the experience awesome, the association with ****** SPONSORS WAS UNCONSCIONABLE. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THAT KIND OF ENTITLED, ****** BEHAVIOR. IF THIS WHAT THE SHEBEEN IS ALL ABOUT, PLEASE BELIEVE ME, I WILL EXPOSE IT. I suggest you find out where that Indian man was taken to and apologize. If I find him, I will add to whatever legal action he takes. We actually tried to find where he was taken. It was so terrible. I hope SUNCITY understands these private agreements cause so much damage to your brand of bringing people together.
