Harrowing Experience at the Palace

We booked in at the Palace of the Lost Cit from 27 April to 29 April 2021 for my birthday. On the night of my birthday, after returning from supper, feeling sick, I wanted to just sleep. Entering our room we found various people in our room. The cleaner was doing turn down service when a strange drunk woman just entered my room. She was lying on our bed, using the phone and doing God knows what in our room. Security was there but could not control this woman. All our personal belongings were in the room, and we could not believe that that could happen at a 5 star hotel. Absolutely rattled, we were in such shock as she was screaming and going mad. After she eventually left, we were still left shocked. Here was a stranger in my private space going through my room, without a mask even. Inhad to request them to sanitize the entire room and change the bedding as I refused to change rooms. How can I be inconvenienced in such a way, spoiling my birthday and holiday. I was supposed to do a report at reception but when wanting to do that on checkout, we were informed that we cannot, after being told by security to that there. I reported it to Sun International, after a week still to receive an official response. People should be weary when booking there as the security and well being of guests are not taken care of. That was the most harrowing experience ever.
