Food Poisoning - Sibaya Casino

We hosted an event at Sibaya Lodge, Sibaya Casino from 16-18 March 2016. On the morning of 17 March 2016 almost all our delegates complained of food poisoning. The all blamed the chicken curry they ate at <br> lunch the previous day at Sibaya Lodge. We immediately informed the Banqueting Manager. She came to the venue at 10am with the Executive Chef. The Executive Chef was very rude. We asked him to address all the delegates in front of the class regarding the food poisoning incident which he did. Initially he tried to deny the allegations but our delegates stood together and spoke in one voice that they all got diarrhoea from eating the chicken curry served the previous day at lunch. Under pressure and as the Executive Chef was about the leave he responded that the chicken curry could have caused the food poisoning in front of the Banqueting Manager. One of our delegates went to see a medical specialist as well that did confirm the food poisoning. I also sent an Email with the doctors report to Sun International head office and did not get any response as yet.
