Dissappointing Carnival City Hotel

I am writing on behalf of my Father Mr. M Rampersad whom is a gold card holder with Sun International. A room was booked on the 31st December 2016 at Carnival City Hotel and during this stay, the vehicle had a break in, where the ignition area was damaged.

During the attempt of trying to get the vehicle started the next day, my Parents being pensioners waited in the heat, in the car parking area. No courtesy from the Hotel in any way to assist my Mother being comfortable rather than sitting in the car waiting. Yes we aware that she could have sat in the lounge during this waiting time but no remorse or care from the Hotel in any offering or gestures.

Nick Vosloo being the Supervisor for Security, we are still waiting for him to call us to show us the footage of the incident and its been 11 days and still no call from him. Is this the service Sun International provides?

We are highly upset that such an incident takes place at Carnival City Hotel, especially at the Platinum/ Hotel Parking area!! Even if one parks at own risk.

And not one courtesy call afterwards to Mr. M Rampersad on the next day or two from the Hotel Management.

With regards to this incident, I would like to thank the only person whom really went out of his way to help Mr. M. Rampersad and that is Baldwin Selawa. A really big thank you to him.

And a thank you to Robert at the Hotel who was offering courtesy transfer to our Home should the car have not started.

Overall, we are highly upset at this incident where the vehicle ignition was damage. And highly upset that we still await feedback from Carnival Security Supervisor Nick Vosloo to show us the footage.

Note: Due to Mr. M. Rampersad being a pensioner, lack of response from Carnival City Hotel towards their MVG Members. We are requesting Sun International Carnival City Hotel to cover the replacement cost on the vehicle ignition.
