************** against a special needs child
GRAND WEST - Yesterday morning, Sunday December my special needs nephew Matthew was invited to join his cousins at a birthday party. Because he is unable to pay Laser Tag with the the rest of the kids, he was just going to sit and eat pizza with them in the food court. Shockingly he was turned away at the entrance by security because they did not accept his face shield instead of a face mask ! He is autistic and will not wear a mask covering his mouth and nose. Absolutely DISGUSTED that they could not accommodate a special needs child and denied him access. When my brother asked to speak to management, he was denied this too and told "rules is rules". His parents travelled all the way to Grand West to join the kiddies party and were turned away ! Blatant disrespect and ************** shown towards him and his parents. That's the last Grand West will ever see of me (and MANY of my friends and family) that's for sure.
