Dangerously over crowded

<p>Myself and my family visited the valley of the waves on Saturday 1 April 2017.</p> <p>Our 1st concern that was very disturbing, was the fact that too many people were let into the Valley of the waves, there was hardly place for people to sit and it was unsafe for kids to swim as those drinking were unruly and stomping around in the water with their drinks.</p> <p>secondly there was absolutely no form of crowd control concerning the usage of the departure buses. People were fighting to get onto the buses, little kids and females were being compressed. We did speak to Piet who was an employee at the departure site, he assured us that the buses would be controlled fairly, but he disappeared and did nothing to help the situation. </p> <p> </p> <p>It almost ended up in a physical fight as people were becoming angry at the lack of organization. My niece was punched and hit in her abdomen and my grandmother was squashed into the side of the bus. We were asked if we belong in this country, which was very disturbing as we are South Africans and had visitors with us from Canada. Sun City is a known tourist destination, so is this the impression you wish to give South Africans and international world alike concerning your facilities. Our family or anyone we know will NEVER be visiting Sun City again. </p> <p> </p> <p>We do however propose the following:</p> <p>1. a maximum amount of people allowed in per day. </p> <p>2. Limited alcohol intake to outside of the pools, as people were drinking in the water.</p> <p>3. A better system at the departure centre e.g: having rails for proper queues as at the welcome center as well as having more visible and engaging staff to assist with concerns. </p> <p>4. Have a set demarcated sing for buses to stop, as bus drivers were stopping everywhere.</p>
