Cabana's, what a disappointment
Booked online at the CABANAS. On my arrival the Valley of the Waves was closed due to annual service. It did not state on my booking reservations NOR on my receipt, NOR on the confirmation email ... that the valley of the waves are closed. When I spoke to Refilwe the Manager at CABANAs, she stated : I will be able to get a FULL REFUND if it does not Say on my booking ticket that the Valley of the waves is temporarily closed.
In addition: the rooms were badly maintained. The toilet didn't flush properly. The aircon was filthy, you could see that the Aircon had not been serviced, the toilet had more silicone on it than what you can buy at Builders. The damp walls were bad, with paint peeling off and the cleanliness was terrible. had to personally remove streaks from the mirrors.
Further more. Took my Daughter on that baby Train Ride. What a bad view: All i saw was ******* everywhere, including that section where the train rides over the edge of the dam. nothing was maintained. The statues were all broken. some without a head or a limb. Not a pretty site for my young daughter to see. Cant believe what the Cabanas looks like now in comparison to the previous visit.
