BEWARE OF SUN CITY TIMESHARE

I was told when purchasing the timeshare that it is a great investment and i can sell my timeshare at any stage however this is NOT TRUE. After finding a friend that was willing to purchase my timeshare from me due to myself relocating and not being able to make use of it any longer i request the transfer documents and receive an email in return that went like this.<br> <br> Please note as per your attached contract would you kindly refer to page 7 clause 8, where Sun International South Africa (SISA) has first right of refusal.<br> <br> Thus please advise us on the reason for the transfer & if you are selling it to a 3rd party we require the offer received by you to act on SISA's option of first right of refusal.<br> <br> 8.2 In the event that the Purchaser wishes to dispose of the Membership Interest, he/she shall notify SISA in writing and furnish SISA with -<br> <br> 8.2.1 a copy of any written offer received by the Purchaser from a third party which the Purchaser wishes to accept (even if this after the date on which the Purchaser first gives notice in terms of clause 8.1); or<br> <br> 8.2.2 Details of the price that the Purchaser requires for the Membership Interest.<br> <br> I paid R20 000 and was offered R12 000 by them!
