Bad service

Friends of mine recently returned from a weekend at Wild coast sun and complained bitterly about poor service and poor quality food. This reminds me of the weekend of the 20/11/2015 where my wife and children treated me to celebrate my 60th birthday. The facilities are good but that's where it ended. I had my first meal at The Commodore in 1981 and many times subsequent to that , and exquisite they were. The last offering was a grubby one page menu, a prawn ****tail that should be named avocado ****tail, fish and chips(no prawns available, sic. wild coast) to name but a few. It should be renamed The Stevedore or better still The Bilges. I tried to get an omelette for b/fast one morning and gave up after half an hour. Breakfast was punctuated with insipid food, waiting for bacon, fetching your own coffee and insipid staff. At R250.00 a pop i have better value at my local Wimpy and my food is served to me. One morning a member of staff from the surveillance section introduced himself to get feedback from guests. He was conducting an independent survey for management(oops). Dinner at Chicos is highlighted by the dinner menu printed on the wall. If going take your own or eat out.
