Appalling accommodation and indifferent management and staff

Vacation club. Since it's supposed to be a world club resort didn't think I needed to check the reviews ! Big mistake. Appealing service , the worst timeshare unit I ever stayed in . We arrived at 10:45 .check in strictly 2pm .even thou we saw units that were ready . Went for lunch and came back at 1:50 pm.the queues for check in were winding outside. Took 75 mins !!!!! To check in only to told the unit specifically written on the booking form was unavailable now as they allocated it to someone in the queue ahead of us.

The reserve

Dark gloomy . Very little dull light. Light bulbs not working in second room despite asking.

NO windows ventilation or extractor fans in bathrooms. Sewage smell No hot water in mornings. Shower 5 seconds boiling ( skin scalding boiling) followed by 15 seconds ice cold water .-yes I timed it. This is a constant issue Silicone worn off shower doors second bathroom so whole bathroom floor floods

Air con did not work . Exremely Loud cranking noise. Tried calling reception till 10 pm on day 1 no answer. Slept in very cold room to wake to NO hot water . Many missing items or broken not functioning items ,including dishwasher. Safe not working My husband spend 3 hrs in afternoon waiting for maintenance. Someone came to only fix the safe. By 5:30 pm I called the duty manager . He came just before 6pm complaining that he knocks of at 4pm now has to sort this. Not my problem if there's no after hours duty manager!!!!

He promised someone would attend to aircon. No such luck. Night 2 in cold dark gloomy room.

No activities like table tennis, pool /snooker,board games .

Putt putt closed at 6pm. Next day at 11 am . No putt putt equipment available the guy says till 2pm!!.

It's was overcast and too nippy for swimming.

Valley waves. Filthy disgusting green water for lazy river. Slides none the better Bathrooms were horrid .

One wave ,then wait 5 mins or more for the next mini or medium wave. We asked life guard about big waves he said they do not turn on big waves anymore.

Such an incredible disappointment for timeshare and sun international resort. Either stay outside and get a day pass to Valley of the waves etc or better still give it a miss and go to another timeshare resort . Such an embarrassing showcase of what was once a top timeshare destination.

And having belatedly scanned reviews on Trip advisor and Hello Peter, the filthy rooms, poorly maintained equipment ,rude *********** staff and non existing management has been a recurring theme for some time and it's obvious senior management don't care at all
