Incompetence

Like many South Africans, due to bad health and other economic conditions, we find ourselves in financial difficulty. Because of medical treatment, my parents did the responsible thing and app**** for debt review. This way the financial strain is less while still honouring their obligations. We were referred to Summit Financial Services, thinking we'll be in good hands, but have had endless problems since the start. First, we were not given all the information. Second, if you query anything, prepare yourself to wait up to a week before they even open your email. It has taken them since September 2017 to arrange for one of the debit orders to be cancelled. My parents are having reverse debit orders, even though agreements are signed. They are being charged every month and what's more frustrating is the fact that it is so time consuming. There are so many service providers out there and I wish we had gone for a more efficient one. They are the middle man, but are seriously falling short. I would not recommend them to anyone.
