No horsing around here

Decided on a country outing this morning, and a friend and I headed off west out of the metropolis of Durban, to have breakfast at Summerveld Club House at the Gold Circle Horse Training Acadamy. I prebooked a table with Anja, who attended to my order and recommended the "full house" ommelette, in a 1/2 portion size as I am diabetic. She was most helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The toilets were scrupulously clean, and although the sun was hot and it became sticky even under the umbrella, the scene was relaxing and I enjoyed seeing a few gallops around the field. I would really recommend this as a relaxed outing with excellent service and delicious food at very reasonable prices. A define 10/10 and worth a 2nd return in the near future.
