Dunlop SA not keeping to warrenty

I recently had a punctured tyre whilst returning home, which was in an unsafe area. Not knowing that it was a puncture, I eventually checked and noticed this. I then contacted the tyre manufacturer to find out if they can replace the tyre as it was less than 6 months old. They (Charlie, Technical Manager) told me they can not replace this tyre as it was not a manufacturing fault. Yet the tyre was damaged as air bubbles appeared when I pumped the tyre up. They are not helpful in trying to assist as they just say it is not a manufacturing fault. Yet I asked them how you know if the tyre has a fault when it is not used and to see a fault? You can only use the tyre; if something happens, they know it. Yet something did happen they say it is not a manufacturing fault it is a user fault. Please be aware of the insurance they offer for tyres there is always a catch to not having to pay out or replace it. The tyre Brand is DUNLOP GRANDTREK. Thank you Sumitomo Cape Town for being cruel. Stay clear of Dunlop SA they don't keep their promises on warranties.
