Sugaplum Spa Lonehill - Groupon Voucher all a **** - STAY AWAY

<p> </p> <p>I had a very unfortunate experience yesterday at Sugaplum Spa, in Lonehill JHB. I bought two of the attached vouchers online.</p> <p> </p> <p>After storming out yesterday, the owner, Glodine, promised me she would do the refund of the two vouchers into my account on the same day (Thursday 16 June). I have since cc’d you on the mails to her. She has now told me she is removing R 200 for the massage as I did not complain about this. She is promising to refund for R 798, so if the EFT comes through, she stills owes me R200.</p> <p> </p> <p>As per sms with Glodine the owner, I can also send a screenshot of this message</p> <p> </p> <p>Received Thursday 16th June at 6.31 pm</p> <p> </p> <p>“We will be refunding you your money back, kindly send us the groupon vouchers that you purchased and we will refund accordingly”</p> <p> </p> <p>This morning I sent the 2x vouchers = R998, and she then rep**** saying the massage amount would be deducted for R400, the spa value not the groupon value.</p> <p> </p> <p>All mails are attached for reference.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Pamper Package for Her for One (as advertised on Groupon’s website)</p> <p> </p> <p>Pamper Package for Her for One</p> <p>· Full body mud scrub: 60 minutes</p> <p>· Full body Calabash massage: 60 minutes</p> <p>· Sugaplum signature facial: 60 minutes</p> <p>· Full manicure: 60 minutes</p> <p>· Full pedicure: 60 minutes</p> <p> </p> <p>1. Full Body Mud Scrub – 60 Minutes</p> <p>I was told by the the****** that she can’t do a full body scrub as the showers were in the other building and they had put me in the wrong area. So she was only able to do my back scrub.</p> <p>The scrub was app**** with no moisturiser and I had to ask the the****** to stop as it was hurting my skin. She ended up only doing my back and back of legs and then washed it off.</p> <p>This was all done in less than 15 minutes and not the full hour as advertised.</p> <p> </p> <p>2. Full body Calabash Massage – 60 Minutes</p> <p>I was happy with this massage although it was not a Calabash massage as advertised (with calabashes used). Only the therpaist’s hands were used during this.</p> <p> </p> <p>3. Sugaplum Signature Facial – 60 Minutes</p> <p>Not done for 60 minutes, was 20 minutes in total</p> <p>The****** used rooibos products</p> <p>The****** did not ask my skin tone (oily / combination etc) for the moisturiser and said they only had one type</p> <p>I asked the the****** why she is not using scrubb during the facial, and she said they only have body scrub and not facial scrub.</p> <p> </p> <p>4. Full Manicure</p> <p>I left after the facial and declined to receive this treatment due to the above</p> <p> </p> <p>5.
